We had a fantastic meal for my husband's birthday. It was the best duck dish I have had in a long time. The lamb rack starter was delicious and the scallops where delicious. Excellent service, I would return next week, even though it's an hour's drive from us.

Absolutely amazing food at 7eventy1. The service was so personal and all the staff were so kind and professional. The food was incredible, perfect flavours and presentation! We will definitely be back!

We loved dining here, simple yet elegant table layout, easy to follow menu (you can go simple or complex, the guys will help you), very helpful and attentive staff. Locals love it too, everyone recommended it, and we weren't disappointed. Will definitely call again. You'll find it hard to beat their prawn puri. Enjoy!

A really beautiful restaurant where rach member of the staff made us feel special and catered to our needs. Provided recommendations and alternatives which were spot on. Can't wait to visit again the next time we're in Appleby. Beautiful food and stunningly presented.

Following all the good reviews we decided that we must visit. Staff were very courteous on our arrival and gave lots of advice to help choose. We ate from the specials menu , we had the Salmon and Samosas to start and the Duck and Beef , all cooked to perfection, with fantastic flavours. This is a Gem in Appleby, we will return soon , and fully recommend.

Really great atmosphere, really good food, lovely service. We tried four different curries that were adapted to our taste and other than mine being a tad too sweet (I should have asked about it initially, it's not their fault) it was all honestly really marvellous. I actually liked my partner's and my mom's dishes more than my own, but I'll just know what to order next time :) We'll be coming back.

We really enjoyed our meal here! Came as a family of 5 on holiday - we phoned up at 5pm and managed to get a table at 7:30pm. We'd read reviews on Google and wanted to give it a try. Food was boiling hot, delicious, authentic and full of flavour. Portions don't look big but once you finish it you feel a nice full rather than stuffed! Front of house was also the waiter and bar man - he was working very hard on his own and the restaurant was quite busy! He was very hardworking and had excellent attention to detail. Water flavoured with lemon, cucumber and grapefruit was refreshing and a nice touch along with the sugar coated fennel seeds as a palette cleanser! We were very impressed and would return!
